How Well Do You Hear?

An established baseline hearing test will help your healthcare management team determine if you have a hearing loss or if you lost hearing due to one or more of these following  common factors:

  •  Medications – many of today’s medications can affect hearing.
  • Infections – bacterial and viral – a simple cold can turn out not so simple.
  • Physical injury to the head and neck.
  • Chemotherapy
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Disease
  • Kidney Disease

The published recommendations for hearing testing are:
• Ages 20-40 ~ Every 10 Years
• Ages 40-50 ~ Every 2 Years
• Ages 55+ ~ Every Year (Annually)
